We are delighted to announce that Ruth Ritter will be taking up the position as our new teacher of Religious Studies and Hebrew Lessons at Migvan at Frobenstrasse, commencing 1. September 2008.

Ms. Ritter grew up in Israel and has a BA in Sociology and Anthropology. She moved to Bern in 1991 and has been living and working there since. Ms. Ritter speaks German, English and of course Ivrit. For the past three years she has been teaching Religious Studies at the JGB in addition to ongoing private tuition with both children and adults.
We are also delighted to announce that Salome Guth will lead the children’s program at the Kabbalat Shabbat. In addition, Ms. Guth will also lead the children’s program for various holidays.
Many of you know Salome Guth already: She comes from Basel, speaks German and English and has been working with much success since quite a few years at the Jewish Kindergarten.
